Know Before You Go….Parking Options

The festival takes place along 11th Street in Golden, with residential areas nearby. Since there is no event parking allowed in those residential areas (strictly enforced!), we have compiled a list of parking options for you. Some options are free, while others require a few bucks (cheaper than a parking ticket!) Some are a bit closer than others. DO NOT PARK IN THE RESIDENTIAL AREAS AROUND THE EVENT - YOU WILL BE TICKETED!

#1 PRO TIP: Take the FREE SHUTTLE! Park conveniently and free of charge at the Jefferson County Human Services building, (900 Jefferson County Parkway, Golden, 80401) (MAP) and hop on the free, dedicated shuttle right to the entrance of the event. Shuttles run from 9:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Thank you to partnership from the City of Golden.

Ride your bike and park securely at one of the on-site bike racks you will find at the event! Be sure to bring your bike lock!

Ride the RTD W Line to the Jefferson County Government Center/Golden Station and hop on the FREE Ore Cart shuttle. The Ore Cart runs from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Saturday and Sunday. Complete information can be found on the Ore Cart website.

FREE PARKING OPTIONS

• Clear Creek Lot –Space is limited, and it fills up quickly. (MAP) Located at 10th and Archer Streets
• Colorado School of Mines Lot K –(MAP) Located at the corner of 11th Street and Maple Streets

PAID PARKING OPTIONS

• Jackson Street North Public Garage (MAP) located on Jackson Street between 11th and 12th Streets. Offers paid parking using a parking app or kiosk.
• Jackson Street South Public Garage (MAP) located on Jackson Street between 12th and 13th Streets. Offers paid parking using a parking app or kiosk.
• Street Parking – all of downtown Golden and the 10th Street corridor is paid parking. Use the kiosk or the HONK parking app.
• Colorado School of Mines Garage at McNeil Hall (MAP) offers paid parking using a parking app.

We want your event visit be as positive and carefree as possible! Plan ahead! We recommend taking the event shuttle.
